🇪🇸 “En la Cuerda Floja” es un festival de artes vivas con un fuerte enfoque en el circo actual, que apuesta por trascender las etiquetas convencionales y las categorías preestablecidas. Este año queremos poner el foco en los trabajos unipersonales y en dúos de algunas de las compañías más relevantes del panorama nacional. Con el concepto “Solo o contigo” queremos poner en valor el trabajo de l@s artistas y compañías que apuestan por lenguajes propios y que a pesar de la difícil situación económica se esfuerzan en brindar trabajos de calidad y mantener vivo el espíritu creativo y colaborativo. 

La XIV edición del Festival se desarrollará del 14 al 23 de noviembre de 2025. Contará con 15 compañías y artistas en programación, que ofrecerán más de 20 actuaciones (3 de ellas serán benéficas y su recaudación irá destinada a la Fundación Amara, Asociación de Padres de Niños con Cáncer, 2 se realizarán para público escolar), se organizará una Tarde de Circo con artistas nacionales e internacionales, dos talleres de formación y mediaciones con colectivos específicos, además del programa de descentralización del Festival a zonas rurales, Circonexiones. Cabe destacar que, por primera vez, se celebrará simultáneamente el SIC, Showcase Iberoamericano de Circo, evento internacional apoyado por Industrias Culturales del Ministerio de Cultura de España.

🇬🇧 ‘En la Cuerda Floja’ is a performing arts festival with a strong focus on contemporary circus, which aims to transcend conventional labels and pre-established categories. This year, we want to focus on solo and duo performances by some of the most important companies on the national scene. With the concept ‘Solo o contigo’ (Alone or with you), we want to highlight the work of artists and companies who are committed to their own languages and who, despite the difficult economic situation, strive to deliver quality work and keep the creative and collaborative spirit alive.

The 14th edition of the Festival will take place from 14 to 23 November 2025. It will feature 15 companies and artists in the programme, offering more than 20 performances (three of which will be charity performances, with proceeds going to the Amara Foundation, Association of Parents of Children with Cancer, and two will be for school audiences). A Circus Afternoon will be organised with national and international artists, two training workshops and mediations with specific groups, in addition to the Festival’s decentralisation programme to rural areas, Circonexiones. It should be noted that, for the first time, the SIC, the Ibero-American Circus Showcase, an international event supported by the Cultural Industries of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, will be held simultaneously.
